Whitefish took 10 students to Helena for the DECA State Competition.  At the competition there were over 350 students in attendance from all over the state representing 20 different high schools.  The competitors for Whitefish were:

All ten of our students qualified for the finals round on the first day (they were in the top 8 overall in their individual category).

 

Of those ten we had 4 of them who were State Champions in their events.

                Jack Hyer—Vehicles and Petroleum Marketing

 

2nd Place—Jack Hyer and Kyle Knox—Financial Analysis

 

3rd Place—Zach Tkaychk—Sports and Entertainment Marketing

 

The students listed above all qualified for the International DECA Competition held in Anaheim California on April 28th-May 2nd.
