Northeast Route 2001

What a brilliantly fine cold day!  Our students continue to earn high praise from other guests in the motel we stayed in, tour guides, and of course their chaperones.  Cold temperatures limited our stay at Berkeley Pit, and caused us to take a shorter visit to the outdoor visitor site in Anaconda, detailing the history of the Anaconda Copper Co. smelter stack instead of the Old Works Trail as previously planned.
