The Trustees of Whitefish School District No. 44 and High School met for a work session on February 27, 2007 in the Whitefish High School Library.

Members Present: Chairperson Dave Fern, Amy Eddy, Ruth Harrison, Shannon Hanson, Eric Hosek, Pat Jarvi, and Phil Mitchell.

Members Absent: None.

Officials Present: Superintendent Jerry House and District Clerk Danelle Reisch.

Call to Order

Chairperson Fern called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m.

Review and Revision of the Agenda

There were no changes.

Public Comment

There was none.

Curriculum Review

Curriculum Director Bobbie Barrett provided information on the foreign language and performing and visual arts programs. She recapped the arts and foreign language programs at Muldown, Whitefish Middle School and Whitefish High School. She proposed the fine arts departments review the current program and develop K-12 foreign language and fine arts programs.

Superintendent’s Fiscal Comments

Superintendent House provided budget information for 2007-08, including shortfalls and required budget reductions.

Adjourn

Phil Mitchell moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:55 p.m. Pat Jarvi seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
