Whitefish Board of Trustees - December 27, 2007

The Trustees of Whitefish School District No. 44 and High School met for a special meeting on December 27, 2007 in the District Board Meeting Room.

Members Present: Chairperson Dave Fern, Shannon Hanson, Ruth Harrison, Amy Eddy, and Eric Hosek.

Members Absent: Pat Jarvi and Mike Ferda.

Officials Present: Superintendent Jerry House and District Clerk Danelle Reisch.

Call to Order

Chairperson Fern called the meeting to order at 5:02 p.m.

Public Comment

There was none.

WHS Bond Election Date

Superintendent House outlined the reasons to cancel the February WHS Bond election and hold the mail ballot election in March. Amy Eddy moved to accept the Superintendent’s recommendation to cancel the February 27 election and hold a mail ballot election March 27. Ruth Harrison seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.

The board will consider a new bond resolution at its January business meeting.

At 5:24 p.m. Ruth Harrison moved to adjourn the meeting. Shannon Hanson seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.
