Public Comment at Board Meetings on Agenda Items:

The School Board of Trustees welcomes comment from the citizens of Whitefish. When you attend a School Board meeting you will find Public Comment cards on a table that will also have meeting agendas. If you wish to address the school board about any item that is on the meeting agenda, simply fill out the Public Comment card and give it to the Superintendent or the School Board Chair. When your agenda item of interest appears, stand and be recognized by the Board Chair when and if you would like to speak to the issue. On behalf of the Whitefish School District's Board of Directors, we do thank all citizens for attending our scheduled Board meetings.

Presenting to the Board/Getting on the Agenda:

Board policy stipulates that persons wishing to make a presentation at our board meetings must contact the Superintendent, a minimum of five business days in advance of the meeting, so the item can be included on the board's agenda. Presentations should involve matters of general concern relating to the operation of the Whitefish School District. Individual problems or specific concerns should be referred to District administrators. If resolution is not achieved at the administrative level, the Board serves as a source of final appeal.
